Lesson 23 – The Pillars of Imaan (Part 10):

The fifth pillar of Imaan – Belief in the Last Day.

To believe in everything that will happen after death, starting with the test of the grave and its subsequent punishments or pleasures, the resurrection, standing before Allah, the scales, the siraat (bridge over Jahannam), the distribution of the books of deeds, Paradise and Hellfire.

There are two types of Iman in the Last Day: Decisive(jaazim) and firmly established (raasikh).

Belief in the Last Day also includes belief in the signs that will precede it – both the major and minor signs.
