Sitting #12 – From the etiquettes of reciting the Quran.

1. To recite purely for the sake of Allah.
2. To recite with an attentive heart.
3. To recite while preferably being in a state of purity.
4. To not recite in a place which is impure.
5. To seek refuge in Allah from the Shaytaan prior to reciting.
6. To recite in a melodious voice.
7. To recite in a measured tone (tarteel).
8. To makesujoodwhen reciting anayahcontaining one.
