Lesson 29 – The categories of tawheed– Part 3

Tawheed al-Uloohiyya.

To single out Allah with all forms of worship. There is no deity worthy of worship except Allah. It is the essence of theshahadah.

Evidence for this category of taheed from Surat al-An’aam, Surat al-Zukhruf and Surat al-Nahl.

The one who utters theshahadahbut contradicts it with their actions will not benefit anything from it.

Theestablished daily adkhaar of a Muslim which contain theshahadahare a reminder and a renewal of the tawheedof Allah – they are not something which are merely uttered without meaning or effect.
